Expand description

Why a set of generators does not define a stabilizer state.

Variants§

§

GeneratorCount

The generator count is not num_qubits.

Fields

§expected: usize

The required count, i.e. num_qubits.

§found: usize

The number of generators supplied.

§

QubitOutOfRange

Generator generator acts on a qubit index at or beyond num_qubits.

Fields

§generator: usize

Index of the offending generator in the input slice.

§num_qubits: usize

The state’s qubit count.

§

NotCommuting

Generators first and second anticommute, so they have no common eigenvector.

Fields

§first: usize

Index of the first of the two anticommuting generators.

§second: usize

Index of the second.

§

Dependent

Generator generator is a product of the others up to sign, which also covers -I ∈ S.

Fields

§generator: usize

Index of a generator that reduced to the identity key.
